The Uk Corgi Club had the immense honour to introduce Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Christmas Broadcast on the year of her 90th Birthday!

“Super fans” for BBC One shows were invited to take over the channel’s idents during the Christmas 2016 period and introduce their favourite programmes as part of their #Oneness campaign, filmed in London.

Among those chosen for the project were… a bunch of corgi dog lovers, us, led by proud co-founders Leo and Marcel.

We did get to film a separate introduction for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland so our members all over the UK saw a different one.

We made sure that both the Pembroke and the Cardigan Welsh Corgis were represented (Her Majesty may only own Pembrokes but both breeds are native and becoming rare in the UK), including three adorable puppies from the same litter!

“And now on BBC One…The Queen’s Christmas Broadcast!”

(Thank you to Poppy, Piper, Gwen, Bubbles, Java, Dino, Wilson, Teddy, Kobi, Nelson, Monty, Bilbo and their humans for taking part)
